Not really. I am only hearing all the internet chatter about how dangerous it supposedly will be to human health.

That is total BS! My Father in Law ran legal limits on Ham bands for decades, and had ZERO problems from it! He was running 2,000 watts, and cell phones average 0.100 watts. So that is 20,000 less than what he ran all the time, and he suffered no ill effects over 50 + years of use.

Also noting that the ONLY damage I have ever heard of is from thermal effects from power absorption. It is impossible to overheat tissue in a living organism with a tenth of a watt!

Hmmmm.... Well there certainly is a lot of chatter, a lot of it from good people I trust...so, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I have no opinion either way, really, as I lack the technical expertise.

The top end limit is 2 watts, and it is seldom reached. The possibility of damage from this low a level of RF is non-existent.

Too many people have run significantly higher power, with zero problems. I have no respect for those who have no science or data to support their beliefs, but try to press these badly supported ideas upon others!

:)

K...thanks. Good to know.

These are microwaves though, right...?

The higher frequencies are approaching microwave frequency, but the higher the frequency, the shallower the penetration. They are trying to damage our ability to communicate, using fear tactics, that have no scientific backing.

No problem, as you have guessed by now I hate Pseudo-Science, and I hold those who use it, acting like it is real science, in extremely low regard! I really hate these monobrowed cavemen.
