Nice work. One day I was walking past an art gallery and saw an unfinished pencil sketch by a late friend of mine called Tony Fomison. I went in and asked how much and they said it's up for auction, but if it doesn't sell we'll give you a ring. A couple of month's later they rang me and said it was turned in at $30,000 and was I interested! When he was still alive he offered me a painting he had just completed and silly me said no, this is how you make a living and he didn't make big money back then. Today that's worth about $400,000. Not that I would have sold it anyway, I would have loaned it indefinitely to an art gallery because I'd be too scared something happened to it.

It's amazing (for lack of a better word) how often the value of an artist's work jumps after they pass away.

For sure. The artist never gets to that others appreciated what they were doing...well at least not the full extent of the appreciation.

Whouw nice story or sad story

This is super awesome
