Used to spam the hell out of the web spin and fireballs.
As for stealing Steem, why do you insist with this idea that payout is yours before 7 days? It's not how it works. It is not stealing.
You used to copy/paste video links for rewards. That is indefensible. Just drop it already.

it is not stealing only inside your head , in reality this is no different than walking into starbucks and stealing tip jar .
If I leave $0.01 tip to someone that means I want that person to get $0.01 and you have no right to take it away .
The analogy doesn't work. It's more like a reallocating from a finite pool that is intended to reward constructive behaviors.
So, a better example would be a guy taking a dump on the sidewalk, their accomplice (could be their inside guy ie unscrupulous bid bot) allocating payment from that finite fund for that activity. Then another person with authority over the fund allocation sees that and chooses to reverses the misallocation... Because obviously we don't want to be incentivizing people taking a dump in the street.
If everyone was willing to put in actual work for their contributions, we wouldn't have a problem.

isn't that interesting , @themarkymark is the biggest promoter of downvoting and in the same time he runs one of the biggest "unscrupulous bid bot" . In the same time we know that downvoting increases the vote value of his bid-bot . Hm
It sound more like you and marky are taking dump on the sidewalk and trying to convince people that you are planting flowers
If you knew me, you would know how much I hate vote selling. If I had the stake to eliminate it, I would do it in a second. Marky at least actively works against the problem.
If all else fails and bid bot owners continue to destroy their own platform by supporting narcissistic abusers, it is possible to fork the code but may be wise to wait for MIRA before crossing that bridge. It has to be done smart with mechanisms to prevent history from repeating itself.
As far as bot owners go, Marky has by far been the most helpful to the antiabuse cause thus I am willing to help him contain abuse on the platform.
P.S. I am also interested in how the communities feature can be leveraged to combat the problem so I am not all in on forking just yet. It is an option.

He flags drugwars posts, except his own.
He decries bidbot abuse and in the same breath upvotes himself unabashedly with his own bots...
I suppose this IS "protecting and serving" by today's standards.
Nobody cares what you hate or love , the bottom line is you are part of organized criminal group that takes STEEM away from users and reward themselves in the process .
Marky is just cunning criminal that steals STEEM left and right
