Siem Reap, Cambodia
Hello guys!
Last february of 2016. I went to Cambodia Specifically Siem Reap. Camboadia came very famous because of a popular block buster movie Tomb Raider which starred Angelina Jolie.
Siem Reap- can be translated to mean "Defeat of Siam" siem in Khmer, and is commonly taken as a reference to an incident in the centuries-old conflict between the Siamese and Khmer kingdoms, although this is probably apocryphal.
According to oral tradition, King Ang Chan [1516–1566]had named the town Siem Reap, meaning the defeat of Siam, after he repulsed an army sent to invade Cambodia by the Thai King Maha Chakkraphat in 1549.
So I just spent 2days there just to see the famous temple and get some vibes about their culture.
So we went to their pubstreet. It's actually a market with restaurants , bars and food carts.
We had some local instant noodle but taste amazing. Added with Fresh vegetables and Pork with a mixture of sauce you'll never know that it was actually instant.
Angkor Wat was built in the first half of the 12th century 113-5BC. Estimated construction time of the temple is 30 years by King Suryavarman II, dedicated to Vishnu Hindu.

Angkor Thom is in the Bayon style. Manifests itself in the large scale of the construction, in the widespread use of laterite, in the face-towers at each of the entrances to the city and in the naga-carrying giant figures which accompany each of the towers..
