Nakhoda mosque kolkata
Hi every one this is my second post of the day about old indian architecture & buildings
This building is a historic Nakhoda mosque built on Mughal architecture in Zakaria Street Kolkata. The design of this mosque door is taken from the Buland Darwaza, the Mughal building in Fatehpur Sikri.
Several thousand people can offer Namaz in this multi-storeyed mosque simultaneously. Its construction was done by Abdur Rahman Usman. This mosque was completed on 11 September 1926 and at that time 1,500,000 rupees were spent.
