I still am

"I’m in a relationship with another man. I haven’t told you yet because you’re too busy to speak to me – at least I hope that is the reason why you don’t pick up the phone most of the time.
I’m committed now, even though you always told me that you can’t really commit to someone because you can never belong to another human being.
But I belonged to you that night we spent together. I was all yours; body and mind, flesh and soul. I let you crawl inside me like I was a cave and you were looking for shelter. I let you run your fingers through my thighs as if the cave was dark and you couldn’t see so you had to touch its walls to keep your balance. I let you light a fire, and maybe that’s why I always felt so hot when I was with you; my cheeks turning red and my eyes turning bluer from the flame that you had lit under my skin. I was yours.
Maybe I still am."
