Predefined expectations; slow suicide

In south east asian countries, every character of a society is predefined since ages. The way a child should behave, the way parents must be treated, the way daughter in laws must present herself, the way mother loves and the way dad scolds, decency of a girl, bravery of a boy, everything has been well defined.
Everyone is expected to follow this definations and abide by the baseless rules and regulations of the society. People aren't allowed to live their life the way they want. A person who deviates slightly from the definations is referred to as a disgrace to society. A person breaking all the stereotypes is considered to be mentally restarted. A stamp of anti social element is put up on a person who tries to become an exceptions to the assumptions and definations of the society. The person is humiliated and isolated by the so called prestigious personalities of the society. Slowly and gradually the feeling of worthlessness exceeds the limit and the unexpected happens due to the expectations.
