[Netflix] Memories of the Alhambra Review

I usually don't watch the korean content. But lately I realized that compared to what type of the trash netflix has been pumping out the korean content is lot better. So I turned out to something different. And this time I have this drama & scifi based TV series from S.korea named Memories of the Alhambra.

Story

It all starts with the hero in search of the player for the VR game contract and comes across different side effects of the VR game. Meanwhile he falls for the sister of the lost player. And then his life moves ahead from that point onwards. More of romantic turn is explained in half of the series instead of the VR game going wrong in the head.

Characters

I kind of liked both actress and the actor. Both of them did their role pretty well. Though some of the characters lack the depth and could have been better. But koreans have this knack of building the depth on the main elements unlike the hollywood. So turns out the known characters in the series are pretty impressive.

Is it worth watching?

If you are into the scifi content. I'd recommend you to watch the season. Not sure if it would be getting the 2nd installment but I'd assume that it may get new stories. The current one seems to be done with some sort of the happy ending. I liked it in the scifi concept but not in the romantic concept as it is too much scripted to fall in love. Real life is definitely not like that. Definitely worth watching if you are bored of same old content on Netflix and want change :)
