Where Eagles Fly : Dusk Over The Colorado River and Lake Mojave

This is a soft image I lensed at dusk while flying over the Colorado River south of Lake Mead on the border of Arizona and Nevada below the Hoover Dam, the river is actually the border.

In the immediate foreground are the Eldorado Mountains, which I am flying directly over. The Colorado River snakes through the desert canyons and spills out into Lake Mojave in the distance. The small black hill on the right side of the river where it meets the lake is called Opal Mountain.

Where Eagles Fly - The American Wilderness Expedition is my personal mission to introduce people to these amazing locations that surround us. I am piloting a bush plane while exploring and filming throughout the remote back-country areas of North America to raise awareness of the 47% of the USA and 90% of Canada that remain unpopulated wilderness.
