Coyote Wash in the Fall

in #nature10 years ago (edited)

This mellow place is called Coyote Wash, and this is where it meets House Rock Wash. To the left are the Kaibab Mountains and on the right the red cliffs are the Vermilion Walls below Poverty Flat, which is on the Pariah Plateau.

I am standing in the Kaibab National Forest shooting this, one of my rare ground shots. I have used a digitizing tablet to brush in certain effects to give it a warm feeling. This is in Utah. For a larger view go here.
