Are you alive?

A most primal assumption is that we are alive. If what is written makes you angry or have a negative emotional response, the root of your feelings is a gateway to understanding. One can always find new unseen connections.

As long as there is division, there is conflict.

Perhaps two planets collided and one was shattered into many pieces. Any dynamic living processes that once existed on the planet ended, to be dead forever as new processes began to develop birthed by the collision. The surviving planet now has a large moon to protect it from further impacts. Thank you mother Earth. Or perhaps she's not my mother. Maybe I am an extra-terrestrial, brought here to work for a far away kingdom. A kingdom of gold and greed, and warriors of light and dark, where the people have inner conflict from the collisions of all of their thoughts.

We divide everything, so there must be conflict in both the places we call "the inner and the outer worlds," and there is plenty. Yet another division is being made between the inner and the outer.

A most serious question one can ask is, where is this division between the inner and outer? Sure it feels unquestionably as though there is one, but to be truly skeptical one must be skeptical of the most basic and primal assumptions that we hold, the most influential of which are hidden, underlying structures, fractal networks of memory, experience, and the programs of survival.

Can we see these underlying structures, not by reading about what others have seen but by seeing ourselves? Can we see the division between ourselves and our thoughts, the inner and outer worlds? And is the one seeing them(you or I) separate from the underlying structure or part of it?

Every emotional response a human has comes as a response to underlying thought that can be discovered, verbalized, and seriously questioned for validity. Understanding those underlying, primal assumptions, brings clarity and relief from negative emotions but it requires serious inquiry and brutal honesty.
