Wednesday Walk at the Arboretum
Got these photos from the arboretum this past weekend.
Caught this robin while i was having a picnic with my girlfriend on the grass. Robin was mortified i was eating chicken fingers.
Nice pair of sycamore trees with spruce in the back.
Found some wild enokitake mushrooms, too bad they were just a bit past their prime. They get too tough to eat if exposed to dry air too long.
Found some nice shelf fungi near a swampy lake with wood frogs croaking in the background.

We don't use the term spruce tree in Australia. Or maybe we don't have many. I always think of the spruce goose with Howard Hughes when I hear spruce.

Truth be told i think the robin actually wanted a bit of it, birds have no problem cannibalising their own kind. There's a blu jay shot i got that ill post for feathered friday. That bird definitely wanted some of what we were eating.
Yeah I know I was joking around, birds will eat just bout anything well some of them at least
But Jays are my favorite bird so I look forward to seeing it feel free to tag me in the post so I do not miss it :)
Cool i got a few good bluejay shots, i'll do a big jay post this friday including a mexican jay that ate out of my hand.
