Fungi Friday Golden Oysters
Here's my fourth bloom of golden oysters for this #fungifriday by @ewkaw
This is day one where the fungi started poking through the slices I cut into the sides of the block.
Here's the little clump by end of day one. They grow fast.
Here's a top view of the same clump at the end of day one. Nice and yellow.
Here they are on the morning of day two. They are really starting to fill out, this batch looks less mangled than my previous batches.
Here is the end of day two, soon it will be harvesting time.
Here is the morning of day four. Notice the spore clouds in the upper right. Definitely time to harvest. You don't want the shrooms putting out spores everywhere. I probably should have harvested them at the end of day three.
This clump turned into a descent sized handful. Now I just have to figure out what to cook with these and my lion's mane batch. Maybe an Asian stir fry of sorts. Happy #fungifriday we'll see how many more batches grow out of this block.
A fresh batch for every fungifriday :)
They grew so much on day 1!
So far these golden oysters have given me the most consistent blooms. Though i haven't tried white oysters yet those are probably even easier to grow.
I do not see different types of mushrooms photography but you farm and collect nicely.
Yeah these were just growing shots of one cluster over 4 days. Gotta cook them soon with something.
