Timelapse Trips #04 - Berlin Metro
Today, we went out to go to an open air pool. To get there, we took public transport.
As I've been living in Berlin, the ubahn isn't the biggest surprise to me. But today I decided to be a tourist and act like one.
I found myself in the far front of the train and noticed a tinted window. I looked closed and noticed I could see all the way to the front of it. I took a couple of pictures, untill @things told me, "Oeh, make a video!" So the obedient girlfriend I am, I did.
I was quite surprised about the results - I really like it! It better be good because I was holding up my phone in a shaking metro for a good couple of minutes. If I do not get any nice tone now, I don't know what I'll do. For the people curious about the insides of the train - tada!
These are the tiny icons pasted all over the Berlin metro windows. Check dat famous Funkturm in the background!
Once arrived at Warschauerstr. we had to wait for our next tram. I looked up and saw the station upstairs. I somehow really like the bright, yellow metros against the orangy/brown tiles.
Some parts of Berlin really have a homey vibe and I thought this one was worth sharing.
Thanks for reading!
I always love discovering trains, trams, metros etc... as we don't have any in my country! Only buses!
The video is just awesome @sjennon! Love it!
@progressivechef
Ah! I hate buses. They always take forever :(
You are right here! Well it's been ages that I did not travel in bus though! I remember my school days!!!
Haha, I guess everything is by car?
Everything by car, even to buy the bread! Hahaha!
What if you go out for drinks!?
Then we have to always bring someone (driver) who does not drink! Hahaha! This is really a big problem indeed and many accidents occur during the weekend btw!
I can imagine.. Haha, it would be so hard to find such a friend!
Chairs looks confortable in Berlin metro.. Here are not like that! Thanks for sharing!
They are still pretty solid, hehe. Where do you live?
in Romania :D
Ooh, no clue what that metro looks like!
You should come in Bucharest!
The video quality is insane!
I hope i can visit berlin some day
It's a great city with fast public transport and cheap food and drinks! You should definitely visit it some day :)
