• HOW TO SITE PROHIBITED IN ISLAM *

عن أبيه الشريد بن سويد قال مر بى رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وأنا جالس هكذا وقد وضعت يدى اليسرى خلف ظهرى واتكأت على ألية يدى فقال «أتقعد قعدة المغضوب عليهم».
Syirrid bin Suwaid radhiyallahu 'anhu said, "Rasulullah never crossed in front of me while I was sitting like this, that is * leaning on my left hand which I put behind *. Then the Prophet said, "Are you sitting as seated people are?" *

(HRDavid's ashes no. 4848. Shaikh Al-Albani says that this hadeeth is saheeh)

أن رسول الله محمد يوم

"Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbade from sitting * with a hug at the time the imam was in a sermon .* "

(HR Tirmidhi Number 514 and Abu Daud Number 1110. Al Hafiz Abu Thahir said that this hadith is hasan).

From Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu anhu, who said,

"The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prohibited me from three things (in prayer): pecking (prostrating) like a cock stall, * sitting iq'a like a dog iq'a *, and turning like a wolf tolehan."
