Upcoming Eclipse
February 15th will bring about an solar eclipse at 28 degrees in Aquarius. From time immemorial, eclipses were portenders or disaster and chaos, as the light giver was momentarily made to disappear or diminish its light.
All eclipses are game changers, and it would be interesting to see where this degree falls in your chart. In mine, the eclipse conjuncts my south node, so it is all to do with the tools I came into this lifetime with. A long time ago, a person told me that I am doing my south node; I am a teacher of young children, when in fact I should aspire to do my north node, which is conjunct Uranus, in my 12th house. Well, this eclipse may be just the thing I need to get to do things differently. Recently, my partner suffered a health issue which truly got me to reassess all that I had hold onto for security. Change can come at any moment.
On a more mundane level, this eclipse at 27 Aqua could be played out via the world scene. This is a New Moon, so new patterns are going to be laid down, that is a given. Where, though? Using Fixed Star astrology, we notice that the Royal Star Fomalhaut sets with the Sun. The Fish is also a symbol of Christianity; perhaps we shall see the transition of the 'fisherman'. We know that Pope Benedict is ill, so this will come as no surprise. I'll leave that to the experts. It is all very interesting, though.
