SmartCash Has Weathered the Market Downturn (fairly) Well

If you've been paying attention to the crypto markets, you know we've seen many red day where nearly every crypto is 15-20% down. I offer my condolences. We're all kind of hurting, but if you've been in the crypto game for a while, just look at how much the market has grown this last year. It's pretty effing amazing! Perhaps it'll break this slump or perhaps our corporate, media, government and banking overlords will manage to scare more people off with their FUD (at least in the short term). In reaction to this bear market I've gotten rid of any coins I don't think have any promise or good use case potential. I've invested in the bankroll of a reputable crypto casino, which has offered me a hedge against the downturn. And I've particularly been happy with my investment in SmartCash https://smartcash.cc/. I bought most of mine at about 3 cents and it's at 31 cents at time of writing. Plus I've been earning a portion of the block reward just for holding over 1,000 SMART and I just started my first SmartNode with 10K SMART.
SmartCash hasn't had a great day, but it's gone down less than most coins. If you look at its chart of the last couple months it looks like it tanked hard. However, December had a unsustainable runup and SmartCash had problems with exchanges not upgrading their wallet software. This coupled with the release of SmartNodes caused there to be a supply shortage on exchanges and an artificially high price of $3. December 1st, the price of SmartCash was 5.5 cents, so I feel pretty good about where it's sitting now.

I see SmartCash as a viable digital currency with a strong community, so I'll be HODLing tight no matter what the market is doing. You shouldn't take any investment advice from me and you should do your own research on SmartCash.
