ART EXPLOSION: "The Carbuncle"
The carbuncle (carbunco in spanish) is a creature allegedly seen in South America, a mix of cat and guinea pig with a red jewel in its forehead. It has been related to stories about dreams so I decided to paint it on this scene that represents what I imagine when I can't fall asleep. It gives me peace and helps me clear my mind.
I used watercolor for this and then added a little layer with pencils on the guy because the paper was very thin and I didn't want to force it.
