I woke up this morning in the rickety corner of my bed, was too lazy to make my bed and rushed off to brush my teeth. It was still quite early but I woke up later than I used to. After brushing my teeth, I went straight to the well to draw some water to have my bath. Noticed the water was too cold because in this part of the world we are experiencing the harmattan and its always very col early in the mornings and dry hot during the day. I quickly boiled some water to make the water a little warm and then had my bath with it.

As soon as I was done bathing, I put on my cloth and got ready for work. I have taken a few pictures of my work station and environment for your perusal.

When I got to work, I started out with my daily activity as an Electrical Engineer, which was to make sure that the control panels and electrical installations where all working perfectly round the clock. I did my first routine check; after which I went out to get something to have for breakfast which I brought back to the office to have.

I currently stay in Ogun state, situated at the western region of Nigeria and one of the basic foods found in this region is “Ewa agoyin and Bread”. This is a food made up of mashed beans prepared with a special kind of black stew usually enjoyed with bread. I am not from this part of the country but I fell in love with this food from the first day I tasted it.

I didn’t get the chance to have lunch because it was a very busy day for me. Closed from work really late and when I got home, I had my bath, took dinner which was ‘’noodles” and slept off.
