Introducing BottoSTEEM to @zulbahri

Today, I taught students about straight UTP cabling. This is an important topic in the world of computer networking, so I hope they can understand it well. I started the lesson by explaining what UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cables are and how they are used to connect network devices such as computers, routers, and switches.

After introducing the basic theory, I explained the difference between straight-through and crossover cables. I emphasized that straight-through cables are the most commonly used to connect different types of devices, such as computers to switches or routers.

I then showed them how to cut and crimp the cables properly. I gave each student a cable, an RJ45 connector, and a crimping tool. First, I guided them to cut the cable and strip the outer layer carefully. Then, we discussed the color order of the cables in the T568A and T568B standards. I showed them how to insert the cables into the RJ45 connector according to the color order, and finally, how to crimp the connector with the right tool.

During the practice, some students had difficulty inserting the cables into the connector correctly. I helped them one by one, making sure that the cables were securely attached and up to standard. After everything was done, we did a connectivity test to make sure the cables that had been made were working properly.

This afternoon, I spent some relaxing time with @zulbahri at our favorite cafe. We chose a cozy place, with soft lighting and a calm atmosphere. After ordering coffee—I chose a cappuccino and Zulbahri went with an americano—we started chatting about various interesting topics.

During the conversation, I decided to introduce Zulbahri to BottoSTEEM, Zulbahri seemed curious and asked more about how this platform works and its benefits.

I opened my laptop and showed him the BottoSTEEM interface. We explored some of the key features, such as the curation trail, fanbase and more, its ability to integrate with other applications. Zulbahri was particularly interested in BottoSTEEM’s ability to increase efficiency and creativity in the projects he was working on.

Over our coffees, we discussed the potential of BottoSTEEM in our respective work contexts and how this technology could be a useful tool. I also gave him some tips on how to get started and get the most out of BottoSTEEM.

Time seemed to pass so quickly, and before we knew it, it was already evening. Our conversation was very interesting, and I felt happy to be able to share useful information with Zulbahri. We ended the meeting by planning to meet again next week to discuss further and see how Zulbahri’s experience with BottoSTEEM went.

It was a productive and enjoyable afternoon, and I look forward to continuing this discussion in more depth at our next meeting.
