Because it provides insight into the project's developers, their road maps, and what they intend to achieve in the long run, fundamental analysis also aids the success of various crypto projects.

The Russian Central Bank's proposal on January 20, 2022, to outlaw cryptocurrency mining and related activities in the country is one example of fundamental data impact. Major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum saw their prices rise as a result.

However, a subset of investors has a propensity to disregard fundamental data, asserting that fundamental analysis will always follow the tracks of technical analysis due to the use of price action.
