The Dutch media offensive against cryptocurrency...
To make a long story short... the media is not behind cryptocurrency. Because there is a organization called the AFM in the Netherlands. And they are a very influence party on the financial market in the Netherlands.
The Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) supervises the financial markets: on saving, investing, insurance and borrowing. It is important that the public, the business community and the government have confidence in the financial markets. And that the markets work in a clear and honest way.
Those guys warned the public to look out for cryptocurrencies, or not to invest in ICO's. And they used stupid arguments to make a point. Look here to this video, what is in the Dutch news.
If you don't understand Dutch, they latterly said:
Not all ICO's are good.... they forgot to mention that its needed to use your brains before spending money...
Not all cryptocurrencies can be successful....if a coin is not successfully, then that don't mean all coins are not successful. Then we all just might as hell stop with the dollar, because that is created from nothing...
This means, they don't tell the truth in the media and are using the media to tell more lies., because they could easily explain the truth about a ICO, or about cryptocurrencies. That's the problem what i see in the Netherlands, many people are ignorant regard crypto, and these type of video wound make them smarter. So i think the public needs to know the truth and let them decide what is good or not.
Can the banks be good after years of destroying the economy worldwide?
Or the new crypto what gave power back to the people? What ever anyone would answer, it looks like the public or the masses don't know much yet of crypto, and i think that is the problem, but also the solution to change our economy.

Sorry maar ik vond dit nou niet echt een aanval tegen crypto's en alles wat daaromheen hangt. Meer een waarschuwing om uit te kijken voor de zogenaamde "cowboy" bedrijfjes die er (wel degelijk) zijn.
Juist wel, ze misbruiken de media om onjuiste informatie of niet volledige informatie te delen, en hanteren een drogredenering ( van autoriteit ) om een punt te maken. Genoeg mensen die de nos blindelings geloven en niet willen kiezen voor crypto. Terwijl veel banken en investerings- bedrijven geld over de toonbank hadden gegooid, of gebruikt voor illegale praktijken.
Als ze objectief bleven over crypto, dan was er n compleet andere boodschap in de media.
I was actually talking to a friend of mine about the news and its messages about the crypto currency. - Don't believe the news. - However, I do believe that we should be aware of crypto currency coins that pretend to be something big, so people will invest in these coins but at the end, they will lose their money. I think it's your own risk for investing in coins and people who'll put everything they have into crypto currency and lose money because of it, yeah.. then you're stupid. XD lol.
Well my point was, the news could have chosen to explain what cryptocurrency is, instead of explaining about that it might be a risk to invest in a ICO. So instead of talking open about the subjects, had they decide to fill that in with different features of that subject.
For start they show a foreign company who is making profit.
Then they show a regular guy who have can afford to lose if its goes wrong.
Then they show the opinion of an important party in the dutch finance world, the AFM, who give negative advice about an ICO.
But the regular guy in the Netherlands who never heard of cryptocurrency before, will only see a foreign company making money, the regular dutch guy invest what he can, and the authority who advice not to invest in a ICO, or you might lose your money.
So its not an objective opinion, and is more to show that it might be best to stay with the old, and to forget the new.
What they should have done was this. Ok there is a new fashion called cryptocurrency, he are some companies with different strategies to earn coins or you can buy them, The companies sometimes start from a ICO, and then the coin is cheap, what creates the opportunity for others to make huge profit. And some companies concepts are not good, or are even fake, its up to you to use your brains, to figure that out. Like in the same way, nobody will give his earn dollars or euros to the regular guy with a smooth talk. Well same logic here and then they can end up with an opinion from the AFM , who could have said.
If you don't know anything about cryptocurrency, then take a moment to look around and if you don't like it, then let it be!
