Free beers on the house
Le Ble D'or is a chain of restaurants in Taiwan who brews their own beer. They have life performances in the restaurant and is a great place for big group gatherings.
A while ago, I got a couple of vouchers offering free beers at Le Ble D'or, too good an offer to turn down! One evening I went with my wife for dinner. It was very busy and the main restaurant was full, we sat at the patio area looking out onto the street which was very nice.
We ordered our beer first. Nice and refreshing for a summer evening. I think this is actually quite a good place for drinks as its very relaxing , and you can sit here and watch the world go by outside. The decor was very nice, they even had bottle shaped wood stencils on the wall.
Le Ble D'or has a range of typical bar food on their menu like burgers, pizza, steak, German roast pock knuckle and a bunch of nibbles like chicken wing, fries and nachos. Plenty to choose from .
The portions looked very big from the menu, so we ordered a German pork knuckle and extra fries. That goes down so well with the cold beer.
Turns out we had a very pleasant evening here at Le Ble D'or. The food was surprisingly good, atmosphere was great, and of course I got free beer on the hous. Nothing beats that!

Although the post is about beverages, that knuckle will go down so well with the beer. Also love the fact they used the barrels to use as a display for the customers

I think there are some food that go down particularly well with beer, pork knuckle being one of them. Can't beat that!!!

Thanks. The main restaurant is downstairs which was full, but I think this is much better because we're inside in the air conditioning but very near to the outside. Best of both worlds
