US China Trade War

Tax tariffs slapped on Chinese products importing into the US. China threatens trade war. Trump’s administration claims they considered strategy with maximum impact to China and minimal impact to consumers

Not sure how they measure minimal impact to consumers. Tax up, products up. That’s my view point. The consumers and the businesses are the one that ultimately suffers.

Consumer products point of view, such as handphones etc. China consumers may just boycott buying US products such as Apple in favour of in country produced Huawei.
That alone will impact US’s economy

Whether in the Long run, it will benefit US interests better , have to see how history is written.
