Minnow and Quality Content
Putting words on the Steemit canvas using my trusty keyboard equals writing. In the information age, we type our thoughts rather than scribble with a pen over paper. Such is the digital lifestyle most have grown accustomed to.
I ponder what to write in this Crypto-up-coming-age, where social network is also migrating towards decentralisation.
I remember watching an youtube video by where Andreas Antonopoulos threw some ideas out. Self-driving cars? He said, think Self-owning cars! Imagine a Uber-like company govern only by smart contracts. No CEO, no CFO, no overheads.
People who ride the self-driving cars are the ones who will rip the benefits of such decentralised systems.
Of course in real life, it is far more complex as governments can easily erect laws to introduce tax or ways of curbing such decentralised systems. They can even attack developers directly... after all developers are kinda organised in a centralised fashion.
I hope Steemit can progress quickly build up to Facebook's size. For that to happen, onboarding need to be simpler, and newbies or minnow need to grasp the concepts quickly - perhaps by use of series of educational videos. One way to get these video content done, is to reward the community of people who contribute and organise such content.
Enough of my ramblings... and random thoughts.... now back to the bloodbath of Cryptocurrencies prices (I know it's only temporary).... HODL and accumulate more!

Interesting thoughts, indeed!
I agree it was a bit tricksy learning how the point systems and weighted voting operates.
It is true, government systems could attempt to interfere with decentralization, as well. I will hope that the opposite will occur, and that governments will eventually welcome and implement decentralized technologies into systems that assist in or serve as the means to making decisions and disseminating information.
HODL indeed, my friend, and maybe even buy the dip?
