Know the Nutmeg
Generally nutmeg trees begin to bear fruit at the age of 7 years and at the age of 10 years has been producing profitable. Production at will continue to increase and at the age of 25 reach the highest production. The nutmeg trees continue to produce until the age of 60-70 years. The nutmeg can be picked (harvested) after cooking (old), which is about 6-7 months from the start of the flower with the signs of ripe nutmeg is if some of the fruit starts to split through the groove and look the seeds which is covered in red fuli. If the fruits that have started to grow are allowed to remain pleated for 2-3 days, the division of the fruit becomes perfect (the fruit split in half) and the seeds will fall on the ground.
