Delicious jam from berries mulberry

These days ripen mulberry berries, but have you tried jam from this tasty and useful berry? I really love jam from mulberry or mulberry, otherwise they call this berry.

In Azerbaijan, all the housewives love this jam, here it is called hartuta. This is a very useful berry and in its fresh form is an excellent antidepressant and antiseptic. A fresh mulberry juice is used for any pulmonary diseases, this berry is widely used in dietary nutrition because of low caloric content.

Mulberry can be used both white and black, jam from any kind simply incomparable. True, I add a few lemons after the first boil, if you do not like the sugary taste of jam, you can put a little bit of cloves or cinnamon to taste.

But, at once I want to warn, that hands under the influence of juice strongly are painted, therefore I recommend to use gloves.

The recipe is very simple

For 1 kg. Berries require only 300 gr. Sugar, no more, since the berry is very sweet, and gives a lot of juice. Before you mix the berries with sugar, you need to cut off all the peduncles with scissors, so that they do not get caught in the jam. I fall asleep with mulberry sugar all night, and in the morning I cook on low heat until it starts to boil, stirring constantly.

Do not forget to take off the foam, I adore this occupation (I do not have any foam after cooking - I ate all at once, it is very fragrant and tasty). After boiling, the jam should be set aside until completely cooled, and after 4 hours again bring to a boil. With this method of cooking, the berries are whole and transparent, and the jam is very tasty in flavorful syrup.
