My First Pageant
I thought it's difficult. I thought it's hard. I thought it's not easy to stand in front of thousands of people. I thought I'm gonna faint because of nervousness. I thought I'm not gonna make it. But gladly I did.
5:00 in the afternoon. At exactly that time, the pageant started. I was so nervous and uneasy. I walked here and there to fight this feeling. My heart beat fast when the host spoke telling us to prepare for the contest is about to start.
When I was already at the front of the crowds.I tried my best to act normal and confidently.I was hoping that the judges might not notice my nervousness.I prayed not to make any single mistake until the end of the first part.
During the event, I was asked who supported me the whole contest. I told that it was the people who believed in me. Those are the people who helped me realized that I could also do a thing like this.Those are the people who showed true love to me.
And now the most crucial part came. The question and answer portion. The moment I read the question I felt some part of me was enlightened. I said to myself, This is it. This is the time I've been waiting for. The moment that I should not waste. And in the end, I bagged the victory.
What I can suggest by now is to never stop what you want to do. Don't stop because you fear it. Instead, fight for it and make the experience for experience cannot be bought by money.
How did you score? What type of pageant was it?
I got the crown, it was in school, I won and hit the correct answer in Q and A portion, that was unexpected and I was not expected to get the crown!
