SteemQuest is an ongoing and growing RPG world here on Steem. New players are always welcome. Players can come and go as they desire, just let us know when you are leaving (say you are taking an IRL 2 week vacation) we will make sure your character is somewhere safe until you return (or Thunk may just cover you with leaves on the side of the road)

Our Story:
Zur has successfully shaken down the halfling and heads back down the alley.
TristenQ & Quaid slip out the side of the blacksmith with a piece of chain mail.
Pandora & Happyme are wrapping up their shopping.
Back at the bar the 1st weekly “Legs & Kegs” is kicking off with Omar’s newly discovered cooking skills this should be a good time.

Quaid: Back to the tavern! If I happen to spot Zur or Happyme, invite them to come on back so we can figure out our next move.
ok it ready. taking the frogs legs off. making a big plate putting it on the bar counter. we need cake….starting looking fore Flour, eggs, sugar, carrots, almonds and baking soda. a think we need a carrots cake. mabye a can draw mr SKELITON on top..we can bring the left over on the journey. a still feel a bit nauseous after the health potion a drank.
Zarvagos helps Omar serve the customers at the counter.
Everyone is enjoying the meal.
The old man smelling the aroma of Omar’s amazing dish comes down the stairs and jumps behind the bar to keep filling mugs of ale for paying customers.
Old Man: ‘The old money box should be full tonight’ he says with a smile
I wish the merchant well and move away from the booth.

We head back to the tavern and join the others for some tasty and satisfying frog's legs.
Wow! These are really good! Where did you get them from and who cooked them? My compliments to the chef!
Check out these nifty robes I got from a merchant. They add half a point of damage absorption. Best part is that I only had to trade my old robes in for these! How could anyone ask for a better deal than that?
So what has everyone else been up to?
By the way, nobody in town seems to know any more than we do about these portals.

Wearing my new nifty robes, I head over to the merchant who can infuse magic into my bow. Hello good Sire! I'm in service to our good Lord Darkcloak and I need to be able to defend myself better. Would you be able to infuse magic into my bow so that it does more damage?

Seeing happyme struggle with the merchant Pandora joins her elven sister and throws in her weight in the negotiations: "...and if you can do this one as well", showing her newly bought elven bow, "we will make it worth your while and sing a song of praise to Lord Darkcloak".

The merchant says he would love more than anything to help but only the traveling mages have the ability to imbue gemstones with magic.
And he doesn’t know of any gemstones in the kingdom currently.
But will do everything he can to find some and if he does will send word to the Tavern.
Thunk, “Hot Damn that smells good! ET & Thunk grab a healthy plate and a keg and sit down. Hey, her comes Quaid and the others”. We begin telling of the Frogs in the basement and Thunk remember the frog key. ‘They looked kinda like this when the legs were still attached”

Looks at the bow Miss Priss, I mean Pandora bought & HappyMe all decked out in that new robe. “ We are a fine lookin bunch.”

Spots Zur walking in and calls him over. Thunk pulls the center table over to make a bigger table. Thunk proceeds to tell the tale of the frogmen battle in the basement.
“... and then I performed a glorious flip over the rail to come down with my sword and cleanly chop off both the remaining legs in one smooth chop. They landed on the platter Omar was holding on his way up to the kitchen. And then you guys walked back in”
