Well it’s still a close race. Lots of boosting and ramps. More cracks are appearing and more of the cooling water from under the track is showing up.

Halfway through lap 2. Who is going to win ???

I move 10 spaces forward, to land just at the end of Section 6

I also place the dumpster right in front of that new Boost someone went and placed near the starting line XP

If I understood correctly, I can slide out and avoid that crack on my next turn.

You are correct you can slide out a lane to avoid the crack.

What is the result of FAILING a balance check after landing from a ramp? The ramp chit doesn't specify the result of a fail.

Any balance check you fail ends your turn.
Your next turn you automatically get back up and move at half speed.

I will double check the rules to see if this is clear.

So basically @lordnigel is at half speed this turn.

Yes. Wren1221 only moves 5 this turn.
however she played a very effective Whoa. As it causes @happyme to slide into the wall take 1 point of damage and as he comes off the wall he is forced ahead one space.
So he needs to make a balance check for hitting the wall and another because he is now on the crack.

The 1st balance check is on this turn for the wall
The 2nd balance check is on the start of his next turn for the crack.
