#playbypost : Vapor’s Gambit round 4
Last round Wren1221 was distracted by a beauty in the crowd and fell off her board. Can she catch back up ?
Meanwhile happyme, pbock, lordnigel speed forward out of the turn as cracks start to form on the track.
They are heading into turn 3, who will be in the lead at the end of lap 1 ?
Rules clean up:
Winner of a lap. This is not the 1sr player to cross the line it is the player who is farthest pass the line at the end of the turn. This is to simulate the speed that if one player is a space farther along then they passed the line 1st.

So I got to wait till Lordnigel and happyme have done their moves before saying how I'll move, correct ?
In any case, I place a Dumpster in front of @lordnigel XP

although technicallyit'd be best to place the Dumpster at the very end of Part 6, on the inner lane.
That effectively blocks anyone from using the inner lane on the next part, since we can't move inwards during turning sections.
On the table top version we move the 1st player, 2nd player etc...
But I think for what we do any order will work.
You can place a chit under a / on top of a player, if you want to place it down on happyme when he moves his 1st space we will do that.
You are correct about placing it at the end of space 6.
Tip: A ramp in that spot sends players out even farther.

Based on what is and what could be:
Could I place a ramp on the dumpster and jump it? If it isn't in front of me, I would choose to slide back over to the inner lane and use the booster left by lordnigel.
Of course, if you should retract lordnigel's move and have him slam into the dumpster, I would slide into the inside track AFTER passing the dumpster.
That is what will happen. Sorry I miss read it.

Actuall with the board game rules you would go 3rd as you are currently 3rd place, but you can move now. I feel in the post format any order works.
Standing up and moving 1/2 speed. I move forward on lane one 3 spaces to just past that hole. My 4th space I drop to lane 2 and move forward to land on board 5, lane 2, square 4 right behind happyme.
Seeing that dumpster about to land I will play my WHOA on pbock when he is between the dumpster and the wall. Payback!
(I’m hoping both of those two land on their butts eating my ... vapors??)

He will take 1 damage and need to do a balance check to stay upright and continue his turn.
His board is slightly damaged but still has a max speed of 10
Tip: it takes 2 damage to slow a racer. A loose screw chit, dumpster, hole or wall hit will do it
To make things easier I will just hold that WHOA until we get things straightened out.
