North Korea: endless restrictions

in #life7 years ago

This closed state has many, many foreign laws that amount to direct intervention in the same lifestyle. In North Korea, if you commit a crime, the punishment does not only include your person, but it extends to your entire family. The penalty includes three generations, namely grandparents, parents and children, all of whom bear the brunt of punishment. This law was passed to try to prevent individuals from escaping from prison.

The North Korean government has 28 official hairstyles approved, and all men and women in the country must follow one of these layoffs, as other hairstyles are banned. "Spike" poetry is strictly forbidden because the government believes it is a sign of rebellion. The law was introduced by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in 2013, which did not include his own hairstyle because he wanted to keep it unique.

Kim Jong-un wants only the very successful, rich and powerful people and families to live in the capital Pyongyang. Thus, you need to obtain permission to be able to reside in the capital and own a home there. So if you are someone who wants to start your life journey from scratch, the capital is not the place for you, and you are not allowed to live there.

North Korean citizens are prohibited from making any international telephone calls without prior permission from the government, otherwise the penalty may be murder, because the police treat you as an agent of an outside state in this case.
