The german blockchain startup, Bit Trust Services has opened the first dedicated ‘Bitcoin Bank’ on Mariahilfer Strasse in downtown Vienna, Austria. This bank helps customers to exchange cash for bitcoin in an easier and safer way than other in-person options.
This is the first ATM of its kind in Europe. You have a two-way Bitcoin ATM.
According to their data, Vienna has been a fast growing crypto place and establishing itself more and more as bitcoin-friendly town. It at least has 20 bitcoin embracing vendors in the region including bars, restaurants, bistros, among others.
