Steemit Engagement Challenge S4-W4 | Review Of College Education Akwanga

Hi steemians,
A warm welcome to you all. This is the last week of this season's engagement challenge and I'm so delighted to be among those participating. This week I will be reviewing a development area in my city I.e what has brought about lots of development.

I welcome you all to the college of education Akwanaga a state college of education located here in the Akwanga local government area of Nasarawa state. It is important to know that this is not the only higher institution here in Akwanga but since it is owned by the state, it is cheaper and that has brought in a lot of people from all over the country to school here.

The notable places in the college which have attracted more people are listed below and I will talk briefly about all of them. Let's get started.

This is one of the most renowned libraries in the whole of Akwanaga and the reason that there are lots of facilities in the library. People come from far and near to carry out their research in this library because it is made up of both e-books and hard copy books.

A lot of scholars and researchers come here most often to carry out their thesis and research since most of the material needed is always available.

Another thing that brings more people to this area is the presence of the computer base test centre (CBT). In Nigeria, every student must write entrance exams called Jamb before he/she will be given admission into a higher institution. This exam is written with computers and a canter of this exam is located here in the COE.

This has gone a long way in bringing people every day to practice the use of computers before and after the exams. I'm privileged to be among the newly selected tutors of this very program hence I was asked to go into the arena and get myself acquainted with everything in the lab.

A very beautiful roundabout were a lot of people within and outside Akwanaga come to snap pictures. The background of the arena is very enticing hence most times students and none student turn the place into their studio for pictures taken.

This very roundabout brings thousands of people daily into the campus whole lot of event is also hosted within the small garden which is also an avenue where the school generate money because whenever it is used for occasions, the people involve pays for it.

The college clinic is one of the best clinics here in Akwanaga as it offers almost the best medical service at very affordable prices for both students and others within and outside the community. With the presence of this clinic, a lot more people come into Akwanaga and the college to be precise.

As of the time of writing this article, the college clinic has already organised a free medical checkup for everyone in Akwanga and beyond which will kick start on the 1st day of October 2022. This has also brought in a lot of people these few days into the college as well.

The college of education is one of the development areas here in my locality. The presence of this very school has helped to bring people far and near for both business, studies and even leisure. They have a good medical centre which is also a need of humans. I want to finally invite my friends in the person of @msharif, @graceleon and @dave-hanny to also join the contest.
