Dear Steemit Diary this is entry #42 for the Steemit Diary game Season 2, my alarm is set for 7.00 AM as I find this time to be working well for my schedule, today I got up for 7.17 AM very happy with this time.

Going well with these wake-up times as yesterday I was even up before my alarm, not that I actually want to be as I still want to get the sleep I need and if I'm getting up before my alarm it definitely means a lack of enough sleep.

But I was very surprised with the time I got up this morning because I had some trouble falling asleep, it was frustrating that it had to be on the night before I have a really long shift to deal with argh.
I'm not sure what was causing it but I had really dry throat that was almost causing me to cough and before you go on about it being covid it's not that as I'm fine now.

I thing it might have been something to do with the window being open and the cool breeze coming in, I really didn't want to close it but I shut the window just incase as it was a warm night and my room needed cooling down and I really needed to sleep.

Anyway regardless of waking up early I didn't have time to do anything so I went straight down to have breakfast, this morning I had banana slices with cereals.

After breakfast I went back upstairs to get ready for work, I change and left the house, it was noticeable that this morning was definitely much cooler than yesterday but still I could feel the hidden sun just behind the clouds slowly warming up. Still it was a relatively weird morning as it was indeed cloudy and honestly it looked like it could of rained at any moment and I'm sure I felt a few drops of rain already along the way.

In all I honestly had no clue how the weather was going to turn out for most of the day and to be honest I still don't really know how it turned out as I spent most of my day at work, also the traffic was also pretty busy this morning.

Once I got into work my shift was split in half between doing 2 different tasks which I didn't mind with one half doing the tasks I do like, but what I didn't enjoy was that I was given another extra job to do for the day which was kind of annoying as since I was doing such a long day already I was hoping not to do any extras, but in the end it probably made time move a little quicker.

I was basically in work all day and it passed relatively quick which was nice, after work I wanted to see if I still had some energy left to go food shopping quickly.

When I got out of work I decided to go into the super market to pick-up a few things, I have to admit it annoys me to go food shopping as almost every single time I go to pay the person in queue behind me is literally less then 2 inches from touching me while I'm not too worried about the virus there is no harm in atleast trying to be safe.

Anyway when I got home there was still some time to relax before getting on with making dinner, for tonight we had these potatoes with tomato rice.

After dinner I went upstairs to start with my daily tasks, because as of yet I had not had the chance to do them today, after getting those done I wrote the diary entry post for today and then went to sleep.

And So That Concludes My Diary Entry For Today.
