Sig Halloween Countdown 25/10/2017
Hello Steemian so welcome to the Halloween countdown with each day we will have a spooktacular reminder that there are now only 5 days left and 11 hours to go until its Halloween this 2017.
So get those scary outfits together grab those goblin kids give them a bag each and lets get trick or treating.
If you glance at this quickly you could easily mistake it for some kids weird drawing at school but if you take time to look you can see its a disturbing image.
This is actually a oil painting, the work of artist Sig Waller created in 2014 its called Shadow Play ( big old man little clown).
Its said the image is of Sig and Uta when they were little in Kittle, Wales during 1976, plus the shadow.
Its interesting as the shadow could represent many things but having wide crazy red eyes would be a sign of not something good or healthy.
Its also interesting that Sig as a happy face while the shadow seems to lurk behind him and not Uta who doesn't seem to be hiding any emotions.
But my reckoning is all characters are wearing a mask.

Your right at first glance it do look like a kid draw something for Halloween I wonder what the meaning behind the picture
I think that really is the million dollar question I think there can be quiet alot of meanings and I described some of it above, I think the guy is faking the smile which is why it looks like a mask but he as a shadow behind him meaning I think he is hiding something very dark from the girl, then clown mask on the girl could mean a few things also, any thoughts on this @hotmangoes ?
Hmm maybe the happy mask is to hide some devils he have and don't want people to know? I not really sure what the clown mask is all about but I think the shadow got something to do with hiding something
Yes could be @hotmangoes , he must definitely be hiding something thats even if it is a mask, maybe the clown mask is insanity? The shadow could be one mind controlling the two masked people. Or do you think the shadow belongs to one of them?
The shadow could represent something that happen to them in the past there so many possibilities its hard to say what it can be
Thats true @hotmagoes but we could also be completely wrong instead of a feeling could you imagine if the shadow was actually its own person and someone that possibly bullied the artist or used to treat him poorly. But what kind of person I wonder?
