Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 5/6/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 5/6/2022.

Month of June we have reached the half way mark to yet another year way too fast, last month we reached Septuple Dolphin locking away 35000 Steem total. I promised in the announcement post I was going to add another 100 but ended up putting in 300 Steem Power to the pot. On one occasion when I was trying to add another 50 Steem something was up with Steemit.com, I couldn't really do much of anything on here. I'm not sure if the cause was due to a update, some maintenance or a system issue, regardless I was hoping this would sort out some of the problems with acquiring Steem. For example wallets working like in the Bittrex case or the "NOT allowing for the trade of Steem on swap sites". I mean seriously I keep seeing Hive working perfectly fine at these swap exchanges everywhere however Steem is always being taken off and on, why is this?❓ We need to know what we can do or how to fix this as I feel this is making Steem lose out on buyers. Yet after the site began working these problems still persisted, this is frustrating as it stops possible buyers from acquiring Steem or to lose more money when purchasing Steem both are issues I now have myself. I'm still not sure if it was related or not but I just checked on the 3rd and Steem is once again "thank goodness" available on the swap sites which means thanks to that I will be trying to get my hands on another 600 Steem. I know for many it's been upsetting to see the Steem price fall down, not only that but the mayhem that is yet another month of war going on in the streets of the Ukraine still goes on after 100 days. It continues to be a sad moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall, they instead strike fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many with this ongoing war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Yes interestingly enough just as billionaire Soros talked about recently at the world economic forum.. oh that was surprising coming from him eh.. As for crypto we can see that Steem took a big fall, but of course it's mostly the cause of bitcoins having it's big downwave. Sadly like this it's most unfortune that it's taken the SBD's value down along with it. But this was of course very much expected and I'm honestly surprised by how long it maintained such a high price. Hopefully SBD's can hold out and return but I don't see that happening unless Bitcoins gets some recovery going on, still seeing all that cheap Steem out there for grabs as been catching my attention and definitely the interest of others. As like most times I had already been beaten to that sweet $0.19 Steem price deal, dammit lol.

Still just today we saw a turn around as Steem very quickly jumped to $0.39 and the SBD price also went up suddenly while this does provide a great opportunity it probably wont last long at all as when this happened last time it all went back to normal in a matter of hours. If it drops again then I will continue looking at it as another situation for opportunity, and id say if your also looking to get more Steem this might still just be the best time we have had in a while to buy cheaper. It will be interesting to see what happens next with BTC as it's hovering around the 30k mark. The weather in June is a little more stabilised compared to the previous month, we are still getting a mix of Autumn and summer days. On the 2nd it turned very hot and unfortunately my hayfever as now been triggered and while it was mostly a dull day with little rain the previous night I can still feel it's effects. As for today I was in work for the afternoon shift, I was surprised when I got in too see my boss as I had not seen in for a while which I assume he was off. But just the other day people were writing a card wishing him luck with he's new property to which I assume he's been off because of the move. With it being Sunday most of the work now arrives in the morning and so with me being in for the afternoon I hoped to miss most of it but expected I would be left with either all of it or the more difficult parts. I was surprised it was mostly all done and I was left with the easy part not only that but I had extra help which means I had everything I needed to do way too early. There was some of the extra jobs to get done but I decided against doing as one of the superiors was not happy with the quality of some of the work and the complaint was so petty it wasn't even worth mentioning and so I will leave that for someone else as I got on with my usual. As I came in the other day one of the staff was trying to prank me with all the work that needed to be done but I saw right past this lie and she wanted to know how she could make it more believable next time lol. Towards the end of this shift we had another situation where a woman walked into our building and refused to get out. I was surprised that security didn't just throw her out, I was further disappointed with security when they didn't want staff to call police, the reasoning for this was they simply didn't want to spent more time doing paper work with the police. Now I understand people just want to go home after a long shift but still you can't just let people do whatever they want just because you don't want to do some paper work, it's part of security it's your job if you don't want to do this then throw this woman out of our private property. She wasn't homeless or anything she was just being a nuisance, our staff even offered to drive her home, I don't know what happened once the police arrived as the superiors told me to leave once they were sure she was harmless.

I received some "current" good news and what I mean by "current" is that things can very easily change, but basically I have heard our competition who wants to buy us out of here is currently taking a hit with their profits. Firstly it's been admitted they are reconsidering the risk of buying us out and pushing us off, and this is because secondly they just aren't making the money to be able to run the business after buying us off. While I find a few holes in this information it still offers the possibility that we can run business for a little longer, but heck this could all change just as easily. My friend returned after going away again, this time not just with he's girlfriend but he also took he's mom a long. Lol so looks like a nice little family holiday and he said that surprisingly it went mostly very well, sure there was 2 incidents he told me about but nothing serious. Before having a break for the weekend some guy turned up at work, he was there doing a inspection of the place. I didn't expect to start just as he was about to do his inspection. I have heard from various other staff that this guy is a complete idiot and so I was hoping to avoid him. Ironically if we had closed the site down last year he would of actually been my new boss. Unfortunately I was not able to escape him on this visit, I was introduced to him while I was in the middle of something and busy, actually he was the one who stopped me by saying hello. It seemed like he wanted me to continue on in a conversation with him but I was seriously too busy. Since the conversation didn't go anywhere I got the whole I think I have seen you somewhere before routine. Well I can honestly say he's never seen me before in he's life but unfortunately on the other hand I have seen he's face many times. This due to all the selfies he loves posting on the works social media the guy seems addicted to that. He eventually let me get on with my work, hopefully he finally realised I was busy. I was also called away and so took this as a opportunity to not have to see him again.. probably until he actually becomes my boss, he as no clue of this lol I guess not exactly a great introduction to your possible future boss.

As for my day off since most of my friends said they had been stuck this week with a flood of paper work with little to no exercise "hinting we should go for a walk some place". Well luckily I had heard there was something going on nearby in town and so suggested we can make the walk past there and see what's going on. It was probably a bigger walk than what I felt like doing on my day off but still I enjoy the exercise. I honestly expected to get there and see nothing going on but while my friends said there was not a lot going on I have to disagree and actually ended up having a great day there. It was mostly family and kids no idiots in sight.. well that not true there were 2 but still considering all the people that were there it made for an amazing ratio. We enjoyed a few performances and some food, the atmosphere just made the whole thing very pleasant, my friends later commented on how it was a really nice day out and I couldn't of agreed more with them. The usual idiots seemed to have kept away but were still seen near on it's outskirts, still on my return home I was a little shocked because as I spoke to a friend on the phone telling him about the nice day we just had I was suddenly in a thick fog and couldn't see much. I started coughing and quickly could smell and realised this "fog" was infact smoke. Once I managed to get out of the smoke it seemed that some some local yobs decided it would be fun to set on fire the skate park across the road.. I'm not even sure how they managed it, I think they must of collected lots of sticks, dry leaves and bushes from the rest of the park and set the whole thing on fire. Luckily moments later I saw the fire truck head towards the blaze and felt a little better that at least it was being dealt with quickly.
