Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 28/5/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 28/5/2022.

The month of May and at least something to be happy about is that we finally reached Septuple Dolphin or in other words we have locked away 35000 Steem. The original target was to reach it by June and so at the time we had just under a week to make it. Luckily we managed to get there, and just like I promised in the announcement post I've already added 150 Steem Power to the pot and will still be adding a little more real soon, here is the announcement post incase you missed it Powered-UP To Septuple Dolphin - 35000 STEEM!!. On the other hand the reason why I mentioned something to smile about for the month is because I know for many people upset about the Steem price falling down so much, not only that but the mayhem that is May with how it's yet another month of war going on in the streets of the Ukraine. It continues to be a sad moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall, they instead strike fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many with this ongoing war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Yes interestingly enough just as billionaire Soros talked about at the world economic forum recently.. oh how surprising eh.. As for crypto we can see that Steem took a big fall, but of course it's mostly the cause of bitcoins having it's big downwave. Sadly like this it's most unfortune that it's taken the SBD's value down along with it. But this was of course very much expected and I'm honestly surprised by how long it maintained such a high price. Hopefully SBD's can hold out and return but I don't see that happening unless Bitcoins gets some recovery going on, still seeing all that cheap Steem out there for grabs as been catching my attention and definitely the interest of others. As like most times I had already been beaten to that sweet $0.19 Steem price deal, dammit lol. Infact I'm having trouble again getting Steem, I was trying for 600 steem, it's a shame how inconvenient and irregular it can be getting your favourite cryptos sometimes, this is something I continue to think is a deal breaker for a lot of people and what is keeping crypto from being more accessible and successful for many coins but especially Steem right now. Still the price being down I'm looking at it as another situation for opportunity, id say if your also looking to get more Steem this might just be the best time we have had in a while to buy cheaper. It will be interesting to see what happens next with BTC as it's hovering around the 30k mark.

The weather in May is a little more stabilised compared to the previous month, it started out with what seemed like a desert like climate in the sense that during the day it was warm but freezing at night. Now we are getting a mix of Autumn and summer days. I was off work for the culture festival there are actually many events happening right now but yea I had a really great day and actually didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The best part was of course having many of my friends around me and meeting some other people. Chatted to a guy who convinced me to go again and I will but after the long day I feel a little unwell not sure why maybe I didn't drink enough or lack of sleep from the previous day regardless I will sleep like a log tonight. When I was in work last I had to stay longer than usual but I already knew I was doing this and going over the schedule everything looked set as expected. However there was the "unexpected" which was one of the other guys also stayed behind which means the stuff I had to do for that extra time it was instead given to him. I was very surprised by this move but he didn't seemed fazed by the strange occurrence, perhaps it was done so something else could be worked on. Still it made the "staying later" part much easier than I expected, so I'm definitely not complaining as I wasn't looking forward to it to begin with. When doing the late morning shift and while I didn't get a chance to speak with her I saw the older lady I mentioned on a previous post that she had returned to work after being gone for a very long time. Infact it was so long she was expected to return back in January and that was already a long time from when I had last seen her. She as basically been suffering from the beginning's of arthritis.

On the day I done some of the extra jobs but really went the extra mile with one of them, I was strangely proud and waited for the moment for one of the superiors was going to come and complained about something else entirely different just to put me down, but the complaint never came. It was abit of a strange one that day because there seemed to have been a lot of unnecessary staff swapping, and for no real reason. I mean they even had an extra guy come in for the whole day just move a few things around?? This really seemed like a waste of money to me.. but heck what do I know. Still when I was in work I expected to get some grief as I had received a bunch of calls from them just before the morning ended.. actually with more attempts later. I already had plans and was out with friends and didn't want to deal with any of it. I told my friends work kept bugging me and told them it's probably because they want me to stay a lot longer when I return tomorrow. When I did get in while it was never fully confirmed "but by looking at a few indicators" it seemed pretty obvious that's what they wanted, obviously by then they found someone else.

My friend returned after going away again this time not just with he's girlfriend, but he also took he's mom a long. Lol so looks like a nice little family holiday and he said that surprisingly it went mostly very well, sure there was 2 incidents but nothing terrible I feel. The other day some guy turned up at work, he was there doing a inspection of the place. I didn't expect to start just as he was about to do his inspection. I have heard from various other staff that this guy is a complete idiot and so was hoping to avoid him altogether. Ironically if we had closed the site down last year he would of actually been my new boss. Still unfortunately I was not able to escape him, I was introduced to him while I was in the middle of something and busy, actually he was the one who stopped me by saying hello. It seemed like he wanted me to continue on a conversation with him but I was seriously too busy. Since the conversation didn't go anywhere I got the whole I think I have seen you somewhere before routine. Well I can honestly say he's never seen me before in he's life but unfortunately on the other hand I had seen he's face many times due to all the selfies he loves posting on the works social media. The guy seems addicted to that, he eventually let me get on with my work, hopefully he finally realised I was busy. I was also called away and so took this as a opportunity to not have to see him again.. probably until he actually becomes my boss, he as no clue of this lol I guess not exactly a great introduction to your possible future boss.
