Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 14/1/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 14/1/2022.

Nearly reaching the half way mark for the first month of the year it's going so fast. Unlike back in 2018 we didn't start the year seeing Steem reach $8, instead the price of Steem dropped corresponding with the Bitcoin falling. Infact we had not seen Steem fall this low in a while which as been really pleasing to see. While this lower price provides a opportunity for those who want to get more involved with Steem there could definitely be another fall with BTC if people start to panic. I mean the bears were recently testing the 40k mark, it would be sad to see BTC taking steem down with it but there was quiet a bit of recovery the other day with Steem and while it did fall I'm beginning to think BTC is going to hold the mark after all. Haha which it would be good if it could hold until I reach the 30k SP mark on here please. Which reminds me there is something I'm getting rather concerned about and that is the fact that the wallet on Bittrex for Steem remains Inactive I had brought some more Steem to transfer on here for Steem Power but as the Bittrex wallet remains Inactive still I can't do anything with those funds. I understand that it says the wallet is under maintenance which is something I have seen happen here and there but I saw some information that I'm not sure if it's accurate but that the wallet as been under maintenance since Tue Dec 21 2021 if this is the case I don't remember the wallet being offline for so long since the split to hive token. 🏆If anybody as any up to date useful information on what is going on with the inactive Bittrex Steem wallet then share below and you might just win a upvote from myself if your first to comment🏆. We must also remember that there is little doubt the movement of BTC falling would also effect the price of SBD's which some of us have been using to gather Steem-power. Knowing that this was getting close to collapsing as been making a few people a little nervous about their strategies. As for the weather the "new year" began mild, sure it got colder as the days went on but my goodness did it get really freezing cold after! Luckily we sometimes get rain in the morning which washes away alot of the cold, but strangely the past few days it's actually been the sunshine warming us up..well barely but at least it's been a little milder. As for the disappearing text messages I think the problem as been finally resolved with a factory reset the phone as been working like new "super speedy!" and the battery is lasting much longer. So apart from the step counter app all that remains is that for some reason I got banned from WhatsApp without a warning or justification. This is very frustrating as it was a good way to communicate with family and some friends who are far away. If the phone continues working well I might consider trying again with hopes that I can get back on it. Today I was in work for the late morning shift and speaking of late I was late for work today not by much just under 10 minutes but this rarely ever happens to me and with basically them being very strict lately I thought I was going to be in the office for sure. Amazingly I didn't end up in the office, now I'm not sure if it's because I'm never late so nobody actually noticed or if they let it slip for various reasons, I'm guessing they probably did notice but because I'm doing them a favour today and tomorrow they may have decided to let it slip, can't deny I'm rather curious but will definitely not be bringing it up lol. The reason for being late is I feel I was cursed today lol everything was just going so wrong, hopefully you know what I mean but just all the little things were just going so wrong that I mis-judged the time and didn't get a bunch or stuff done as I haven't moved so fast in a long time trying to still get in to work in time and heck it seems I might have just got away with it. The day was long and I was completely un-prepared and even when I did get in it seemed the things continued to go wrong for the first 2 hours but after that my luck started changing, not for the better but just normal lol. I done my usual duties for the whole day which made up for some of the issues and like this I got to ask my colleague who was away because of covid how it was. He told me he's first week of covid felt basically like a bad flu and that by the 2nd week it was like a minor cold but that he enjoyed quarantine as he got to chill out at home lol. Speaking of the above bad luck this New Years Eve we planned to eat at a retro styled diner, followed by watching a movie at the cinema, ending the night in a bar or club. The night began in disaster as we couldn't get in anywhere without pre-bookings or paying high fees. We knew this which is why we checked their websites for any mention of bookings "none were found" So we hunted for other places, we almost managed to find alternatives to the whole plan and so it was honestly a decent night. As for the progress on fitness I lost about %70 of the weight gained by the lockdowns I done this by tracking my step count per-day and doing small daily workouts. It began back in April 2021 and it continued until the beginning of October, this is when my work schedule began to revert back to normal which made it too difficult to continue. I come to the conclusion it had to be put on hold at least until the new year began. And as for steps the app for recording them is no longer working correctly, but I have reset my phone now and if I can confirm the phone is working correctly I might try the app again as I was doing around 105k steps for my weekly goal.

This is great news and I guess a obvious reason as to why the price of Steem increased. My goal 🌍 is to now reach 30.000 SP🏆, hopefully by the end of June 2022. I want to thank everybody who does vote in and for their kind support, I have now been on here for over 5 years and never powered down✔️ not once!! 🚫. I also continue to invest into STEEM with small quantities using my own fiat currency✔️, your votes can help with this also.
