Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 13/7/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 13/7/2022.

Here we are in July its another summer and supposedly a happier time after the crippling covid but generally most can't agree as with this continued mayhem in the streets of the Ukraine. Yes this war still goes on even after 100 + days of blood, it's a terrible moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall at boarders. They instead strike fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many with this war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. But heck for the bankers and governments the original "Build Back Better" plan sure seems to be going swell for them as the country is getting destroyed to be replaced with probably those new residential prison blocks we are to call home. As for Steem after the previous fix on Steemit.com I was in hope that this would sort out some of the issues with acquiring Steem. It seems that for now at least most of the issues have been fixed but I believe some wallets might still be down like in the Bittrex case. I kept seeing Hive working perfectly fine on many of these fronts, with Steem on the other hand always being taken off and on, why is this?❓ We need to know what we can do to keep such issues to a minimum as this makes Steem lose out on buyers and adds more money loss due to gas fees as more trades are needed to get hold of Steem. On July 6th most of this seems to be functioning again thank goodness, I had to contact support at one point to get my Steem order to complete and they explained the Steem would be sent to me when the problem with Steem's liquidity provider is fixed. I think this something to do with Steem itself and not the exchange?❓ I can't remember and so if anybody can confirm and explain this in the comments you could win a upvote from me. There might still be a few things not working correctly but lets hope with time this can be dealt with. I think it was explained the issues experienced had something to do with nodes being down. It would be useful if the Steemit Team could warn us of such events in the future or have someone appointed to give us such warnings as this can cause confusion and money loss for both investors and the value of the Steem coin itself.

As for crypto Steem took a big fall which was mostly because of the bitcoins downwave from 60k. Sadly this means it also took down with it the value of SBD's which was expected but yet I admit it's honestly surprising just how long it maintained it's value. SBD's are mostly still holding around that important $3 mark which is great and seeing all that cheap Steem out there for grabs as been catching my attention. It just sucks that many of the buying methods were often down when it was previously even cheaper. Still I will continue to look at it as another situation for opportunity because I'd say if your looking to get more Steem this might just still be the best time for doing so that we have had in a while. And this is what I like about Steem there is still so much opportunity out there for investors. It will be interesting to see what happens next with BTC as it even fell below the 20k mark, which is surely the bottom now. In one way I hope it stays here for a while longer before another bullrun as like this it could mean some great opportunities for the future when it comes to crypto investing. And so I will probably delve a little more into this risky game with the little that I can afford to lose for the sake of getting a little more Steem in future. The weather in July is not comparable to the previous month as the heat we are having now as made June tame is comparison plus we haven't been getting the odd shower at night. Without that rain not only does it mean governments start to issue warnings of water usage but it also makes it difficult for the house to cool down once the sun as set. It was the 2nd of June when it turned very hot which triggered the beginning of my hayfever, It's been on and off "mostly minor" which I'm happy about but I guess it could still get a lot worse in these next 2 months. So far I'm surprised by how mild it's got, but then again it's not been as consistently hot compared to some of the past summers when I suffered more and maybe that as something to do with it.

As for today I was in work for the morning shift which made it a surprise when I saw that my boss was back as I assumed he would be doing the work I was suppose to do. The morning was again busier than I expected and for a minute thought they had a extra person but apparently they were working for security which I found it weird to have extra security in this particular morning rather than extra staff. Either something was expected to go down this morning or they are that backwards that they hired more security for no reason rather than more staff to tackle all the work we are all struggling with. Later we strangely had one of the guys who normally deals with the bulk of the work later show up which again seemed like a odd choice on their part to get him in early not even as an extra but just to do some work someone else would usually does, perhaps someone called in sick but if that was not the case this was another silly thing on their part. When it was time for me to finish my boss was still there and told me to leave I did as a gathered it was taking over for a little longer until someone else comes in to continue but talk about a long day for him. I was previously too be busy on my last shift for any of the extra jobs that needed doing so I didn't bother much with those hoped they wouldn't give me any grief later but so far this week nothing as been said. But trust as been an arising issue again as at one point a acting superior came to see me demanding to know where some certain paperwork had been placed. I was actually using part of it at the time of this request and so gave him the paperwork. As he looked over it he mentioned apparently something about people not signing the paperwork correctly and doing half the job blah blah. He was actually talking riddles, from one thing to another which makes me think he was only sent there to check if I was actually working. It happened again the previous day too as one of the superiors kind of snuck up on me and she thought she had just seen me sitting around doing nothing, she then apologised for thinking negatively of me. I mean what the..? I didn't even really know what to say lol but it doesn't surprise me as all they think we do is sit around and do nothing, this is even when clearly work is being done as it can be seen on the system. It's something these idiots always seem to forget is that the usual work continues on..so it other words we are always working there isn't really much of a need to check, unless they are looking to catch people on their phones or something.

When I did finally do a late this week it seems I confused a lot of people with my late appearance and so got often asked if I was leaving? I mean I wouldn't mind to just head back and go home but you know money, bills and stuff. Still I can't complain as surprisingly all the bulk of the work was indeed done and to make it even better we had lots of extra staff in so it means I could take things easier. Unlike the previous morning it was luck that it was not busy because we were even more short staffed than usual as one of our staff had to miss most of the morning as she took her daughter to hospital after she feel ill. He daughter is now fine but if it remained busy like it was the previous mornings we would of been screwed and so I feel like this is getting ridiculous to the point that we need in that extra person. Pointless voicing such concerns as you get the same old response that they can't afford it. Yes I guess the fat cats at the top still want to enjoy their unlimited buying power of lambos and so we all suffer. But from what the conversations were sounding like even the superior in at the time was thinking along the same lines of needing a extra person in to cope. Not that they can do anything either, I'm sure they just get the same response we get and basically the company doesn't care. When I was heading into work one morning next to a van was a man laying on the floor, he's colleague was on the phone calling for help. Since this was on the other side of the fence I headed to work first, when staff opened the door I immediately told them there was a man on the floor and that he needs medical assistance. The superior told us to get all inside while she investigated, with moments later returning to get a medical kit. The man was having some kind of stoke she said, I asked if the ambulance had been called? This was already done by he's colleague but it's ridiculous as it took them over 1 hour to get there, even the police had been called for lack of emergency services and they where there before the ambulance. They eventually arrived and had to take the man to hospital where hopefully he recovered from the ordeal.
