Beetle's That Explode To Escape Prey 22/2/2018
Evolution really has allowed animals to come up with some pretty extraordinary ways to escape from their predators whether it be mammals amphibians or insects.
But one in particular in a group of more then 500 species of beetle is a fascinating one called the Asian Bombardier Beetle.
Sure there are many interest fascinating ones out there but lets focus out attention on the Asian Bombardier beetle for today.

These little Beetles infact inhabit all the continents, they typically live in woodlands or grasslands but can be found in other environments except the Antarctica.
So as-long as they can find moist places because for them it would be the ideal environment needed to lay their little eggs in you might just find yourself one of these critters.
This beetle typically hunts at night for other insects and as I said there other species but most are infact carnivorous and so are their larva.
Interestingly they will often gather with other's of its species when not actively looking for food.
The Bombardier beetle's which are most notable for their incredible defence mechanism which is what infact gives them their name.
Why the Bombardier Beetle? Well basically what happens when they are disturbed or feel threaten is they will eject a hot noxious chemical spray from the tip of their abdomen with a popping type of sound and many describe it to be like an explosion.
So hence The Bombardier Beetle!

So even after the Beetle as been swallowed their struggle for survival isn’t quiet over just yet for these little explosive insects.
Oh yes far from over as they are able to eject a hot chemical liquid inside the stomachs of their predictor's with the use of their explosion.
A team of researchers found that the chemical mixture is indeed hydrogen peroxide and hydroquinones mixed to produce an explosion type of benzoquinone irritant which indeed as been seen being used as a key for their survival.
The researchers reported that in nearly half of all cases 43% of the beetles were able to escape by walking up the captors throat.
Whats even more astonishing is even after some Beetle's had bathed in the stomach of their predictors for more than an hour they still managed to escape! Wow a true survivor!
You can see this happening in the video below and dont worry both frog and Beetle seem to part their ways relatively undisturbed.

A very insane bug @manorvillemike very wild.
Really amazing creature and i really like how it defence itself from any attack by exploding an chemical spray and the picture is showing an great effect. But that's the beauty of our mother nature, it hides so many unique and wonderful creatures which we would never imagine about. And most of the people can find these type of creatures as creepy but if we look closely then we will find that every creature on this earth is gifted with amazing body designs and features. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
