Short Walk to the Shops. #0245
--Yesterday in the searing heat I decided to walk the 3km to Morayfield and if I could photograph every blooming plant on the sunny side of the road. The walk took me across the river and beside people's gardens, so I actually walked possibly 2km of garden-side. Colour everywhere, on the ground, in beds, on shrubs and even whole trees.
--I am not a gardener, although I have often dug, and ditched, and barrowed for gardeners. Most plants recognize me as a grazer and don't seem to want to grow if I've handled them. Two of my ex-es were creators of pleasanses and arbors, but I just mow, and dead-head, and prune and carry bags of fertilizer or manure, etc.
--Even hardy 'English wild rose'¿, needs someone else's care as apparently I use too much fertilizer and burn roots or too much water and spot leaves. Yes, I get it, all plants need individual care. I hope your cpu can expand the tree, it had a lovely lace on top but my Android isn't lensed for that type of close look. If anyone wishes to name these, please do. I probably even got the wild rose wrong😃
Frangipani, hiding in the shade. Three flower twigs on whole tree, and all hiding in shrub next to it.
These ochre berries, probably poisonous, but coloured the very green hedge.

Good one mate. I read all you said, but haven't a clue how to do any of that stuff. I will follow you, and vote when I can if I like the posts. I Vote ten to fifteen, and resteem when I've bandwidth but time is a major factor. I have no cpu, I have no comp training, I don't understand most of the techie talk, and I also try to reply or comment on all I follow, which at one character at a time consumes what time I do get. I'm over 60, and have lived fully without computers, but while my back was turned they changed from the size of my retirement flat to the size of my little finger-nail. I tried to catch up when I worked in a job for Govt, but no sooner did I pass Office Procedures then analogue went on to digital. I didn't get back from bush again until XP Office, and as soon as I learnt that could do everything I ever wanted, I was told it was obsolete and I'd need Vista, then 7. Now 10, and seriously, it's crap compared to XP Office. But ai, what do I know. So here I am punching a fingertip at an android phone. But, I can stick this in my pocket and take it to Clifton St. Look at #0160 😇
You do have a lot of feelings which is rare :) I am sure you will figure out the rest.
Very beautiful flowers :)
Hi @hanen, I haven't looked the names up yet, but they're great colour prints (until your printer runs out of ink 😆), check #0239 & #0248 as same short walk. At least one more upcoming. 😇
