WWJD - So what did Jesus Do?

I watched a teaching today, which is below, with this title and it got me thinking. I remember growing up with that phrase and thinking about what does WWJD really mean? Does it mean to be kind to others, or turn the other cheek when someone strikes you? Well to a degree this is true because Jesus did that but He did many other things as well like even making a whip out of cords (John 2:15).

Paul tells in 2 Corinthians 2:21 that Jesus who had no sin became sin for us.
1 John 3:4 says "Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness." This tells us the Jesus obeyed God's laws and commandments and didn't break a single one so that he could be the perfect sinless sacrifice for us.

Well what the women caught in adultery in John 8:1-11? Didn't he break the law when He didn't stone her? I have heard this statement before...but is it true?

Please watch this short video, then leave me your thoughts!

Great video and teaching

It sure was...really felt like I needed to share it. Really hoping to put out stuff like this from time to time. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!

If Yeshua really broke the Torah, He'd be disqualified being Messiah!

But wait...didn't he live it perfectly so that I don't have to even try to? Ok of course I don't mean that but have you heard that before or something like that?

But Abba, your Son kept the Torah so I don't have to. Right?

House rules, son. You live in this house.

But grace!

Grace is a a safety net... not a trampoline!

Wonderful times we live in. For people to even stop and inject Jesus into a situations is amazing! We are often drown in what we have aleays heard about Jesus or what Jesus had already done in situations. We have to ability via the Holy Spirit to know exactly what Jesus would do in a situation. To know Jesus' heart would be the key. In ever changing situations Jesus changed with it...he adapted and loved, and He also got angry and flipped tables.

It is wonderful times the sad thing is I think it is happening less and less. The other thing to remember is it seems that people are putting their projections of what they want Him to be, rather than really knowing who He is and through scripture how would He respond. Just as if we have a spouse we would want to do what would please them. As for me knowing that my Messiah is a Jew and knowing that they don't eat pork I would not serve Him a spiral ham if He came over for supper......stuff like that! At the same time if we are to walk the way He walked (1 John 2:6) then all of us should do what He did when He walked among us!
