My magical veggie garden :)
Hey everyone,
So autumn is here, and new winter vegetables are starting to provide for us, we already tasted the lettuce and some others :)
First, remember the little garden fountain I explained how to build here:
https://steemit.com/diy/@simba/build-a-stone-garden-fountain-with-water-circulation-and-plants
So stuff started growin on it - basil, strawberries, parsley and more:
The eggplants are still providing well, even though they belong to the summer, there are 2 nice ones I'm gonna take off today, to make a tahini-eggplant salad :) I will post that later.
The winter-veggies are already taking over: lettuce, kohlrabi and broccoli:
Growing my entire garden on concrete, meant I had to build higher beds for the plants, I layerd out some cardboard, over it some dry leaves/branches/straw and over it about 10-20cm of land, this creates an awesome bed for these strawberries, which will be fun in the spring.
Not sure if I ever made a guide on how to build a spice-spiral, but its basically a circle of stones that spirals into the middle and upwards. you fill it with land, and on the trail going up, you plant spices. the result is awesome:
Basil, moss, zuta and more:
This is a bed I built from an old couch, its not holding very well after 3 years but it still has some awesome green onion, parsley and an old broccoli from last year that is still growing there :)
Hope you enjoyed the post,

STOPwhat a pretty garden!
I have my own as well, and it's not easy to keep it nice BUT how pleasant it is to have your own harvest, it is the most tasty thing in the world)
by the way, i have never seen such plants!) in russia we have nothing similar I guess
Well, parts of russia probably have about the same plants, but if you're in a colder area they're probably different.
These are your standard eggplants, lettuce, broccoli, kholarabi, and coliflower :)
Beautiful photography brother, Thank you for your supporting..
Thanks! :)
Welcome @simba
Wait, wait, wait... is it mandragora's baby?

Nope, thats just something else's dry root :) I use other dry things + straw to cover the top of the bed, it rots and feeds the plants over time :)
have a garden also friends, good post friends, I upvote and resteem
Thanks a lot :)
you are welcome my friend, once visit our blog also my friend, let add the spirit in steemit, if not, no problem also my friend, and I will always resteem your post
You've worked really hard on your garden = D Very rewarding
hehe thanks :)
Your garden is very fertile @simba. Almost all plants can bear fruit. I am waiting for the harvest of strawberry fruit. Because I like the strawberry fruit. If I start planting I will contact you :-)
Do it! it's so much fun, and home-grown stuff is a lot tastier :)
I do not believe in growing non-fruit bearing plants anymore :)
Yes I have planted some kind of fruit and vegetable crops in the front yard of the house. I plan to add more to my collection of plants. :-)
Really awesome garden..you should big effort and hard work to plant a paradise like this. Thanks for sharing naturals pictures
Thanks, I work hard on it, and I love it :)
I need to some visit and raid that garden. As far as I know, you don't lack fertilizer... :D
וטשטש את המספר של האוטו שלך בפעם הבאה. לא יודעת, לא אוהבת דברים כאלה שלי בפרהסיה אז... סתם הערה.
Hehe you're always welcome to :)
As soon as @mrlightning and myself (and your cub) stop being sick. The weather is perfect.
It truly looks magical over there, @simba!
Thanks! doing my best :)
Well, you should continue doing that! So many people don't even have onetime opportunity to eat fresh fruits and vegetables, so you have your own personal treasure over there!
I do, and very thankful for it too.
The only disadvantage is that afterwards the veggies you buy in the supermarket feel tasteless :)
