The surrealistic political scene in my country: another chapter of a ridicolous minister.

This Summer in my country (Italy) looks like a a period full of ridicolous shows of our Interior Minister Matteo Salvini. Maybe he think to be just a simple righty candidate of a political campaign and not a serious Minister of our government. 

I remember the time we had Berlusconi as Premier and his "bunga bunga" (a sadly famous sex affair) was on every important newspapers all over the world. I was ashamed to say I was italian. I thought it was impossible to have a worst person to represent our contry. I was in wrong. Now we have Salvini.

Maybe you read just some few infos about his political "shows", but I was born and I live in this country and so I can tell you more.

He's a populist, everyone of us knows this fact (ok,  not every one of us, because the 20% of italian citizen voted his party in March) and he's really good at saying we have many problems in our country, but he never talk about a real solution, he just scream to the wind and to the racists/omophobics/sheeps who listen him.  

Yes, it's true, we have many problems. Unemployment, poverty, high fees and just few money, sure, but:

1. if you look around, our country is not that worst country where to live. Public health, welfare state, the living cost are not so bad like in other countries. To know that you have to read/watch out of your barriers, but I think is not so difficult, right? People can use internet to know more about the entire world and not just to publish selfies on Faceboook, right? 

2. diplomacy. I pretend a Minister use a bit of "self control" when he have to talk with our alliance, because (it's smart, right?) a lonely country can do just few things, a country that collaborate with ohers can do many things. I think it's obvious, but some people think different. I respect different point of views, I can talk about it without violence or bad words, but thanks to the behaviour of Salvini, some italians  seems to think violence is better than other ways. It's bad.

3. humanity. This is a word that Salvini seems doesn't know and I don't talk just about the immigration, believe me. Salvini want to deny rights to many people, rights that we have thanks to the many fights in the years, he want to come back at the middle age.

The last ridicolous show was against the Pearl Jam. Yes, against the Pearl Jam! It's crazy! This famous band, during their show in Rome ask to Salvini to be human and to open the harbors singing "imagine" by John Lennon. Nothing strange, many artists do similar acts in Italy during these days. An old (very old) intalian singer called Rita Pavone share on facebook sentences against the band (I think she was jealous of their success and, for sure, she doesn't know Pearl Jam!) and our Minister wrote about how good is that singer and how bad was that band. The most ridicolous thing it was a Major who asked to Salvini to arrest Eddie Vedder ! Don't worry, Salvini is a bad showman, but I think is not so stupid to risk his power (remember, just a 20% of italian citizen voted his party), but I'm really ashamed to have him to represent our country. 

Ehy, guy, we are still in a democracy and we are still free to speech or not?

Crazy!

Well, now I need to watch glitters and unicorns to quiet my nerves :P
