Starting my own art journal
Two days ago I found this awesome post about the art journal written by @becometheartist and it was inspiring for me! As you know, I love to use scraps of old page of books in my artworks and so I decided to start my own art journal ^_^
This is the result of today:
As usual, I took some pics of the process! At first, I took some pieces of different paper in different size and I folded them in half like a journal (at the end I'll sew them all together):
The second step was to work on the first page by gluing several scraps of old page of books (you know I use just destroyed books to give them a new life!).
I used the colored charcoals to draw one of my rounded-head humans.
I added some touches of blue acrylic color on the background and the first page was ready!
In the corner of this page there are 2 words in bold: "buoni consigli", that in Italian mean "Good tips" ^_^

Doesn't this kind of paper turn yellow in the light very quickly?
I used a varnish to protect it, but I have to say that this old paper turn yellow quickly and tis is a thing that I like ;)
