Rust
I love to publish contents about nature and how it is one of the most powerful source of inspiration for my art, so I want to share with you this pics that I took some days ago of the rust on a metal old door.
I'm really intrigued by the work of the rust over metal surfaces and this is a great example on how it can create something "special":
The shades of red of the rust created an interesting texture mixed to the blu of the metal door, isn't it?

Beautiful photographs.....you are correct...so much to inspire....even in this rust....especially in this rust.
Have you seen any of the artist Elizabeth Tyler's work?
She has videos on You tube and on her web site.
This post brought to mind a painting of hers....of a rusty ship anchored near a harbour......hopefully you will be able to see it one day.

I didn't know the works of Elizabeth Tyler, but I just searched them on the net and wow, really interesting, I like her work so much!!! In the past I watched some artworks of italian artist where they used metal with rust and I have to say I really loved them!

Rust can be beautiful, and here you have some against blue as well, always nice to see orange and blue. It pops.
Yes, it's really pop ^_^ I love the work of the rust on the surfaces, but it also reminds me to old memories when my father was not so happy to see the rust on his metal tools :D
