Painting some new characters ^_^

I feel the Christmas spirit all around me, the pine scent in the air, the little colorful lights along the streets, the Christimas tree. So, why I'm not painting something about the Christmas theme and my hands looks always ready to  paint strange characters like men with few hair, a big belly and who love to wear like the young guys? 

Ok, doesn't matter, I'm having so much fun to make them and I'm really exercising my hands in comic characters and this is great for me! 

It's a funny exercise to improve the movements and the poses for my usual characters (the rounded-head people), so to paint my artworks will be more easely for me.

You have to think that behind every artwork there are a lot of hours of work, not just the hours that the artist need to paint that artwork, but all the hours the artists needed to improve his/her skills studying art.

After a lot of exercises inspired by artworks of the past or random photos, now it's time (for me) to improve my skills in comic characters and similar.

I have a collection of different comic books and in the past days I was really inspired by them, so here I am and this is the figure I painted today:
