Autumn is...
"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower!" Albert Camus
This is the quote that inspired my sketch this morning.
It's true, cause their beautiful shades of colors, the leaves are beatiful like flowers!
To draw this sketch I use my oil pastels (as you can see in the pics), just to see how they work drawing a tree and the grass in the meadow. Interesting!
For the meadow I used some little touch of different colors from black to yellow (with a touch of purple) as in the expressionist paintings. It's was an interesting sketch to do ^_^
I have to run to my friend to give her some of my tiny paper mushrooms that she asked me, see ya later!

You capture the autumn perfectly Silvia. I love the grass area at the base of the tree. Quite expressive. You should do more in that style. : )

We do not have autumn in Borneo but your sketch gives me some idea what it is like. I hope that one day I will be able to see all the different colors of the leaves in autumn.
Autums colors are really beautiful, but I have to sat that watching some pics of Borneo you have wonderful colors (even if not autumnal color) also there ^_^
