A new blue freak cat ^_^ (process inside)

Sometimes to work on something cute and simple can give you funny moments and it happened to me creating a new articuled cat of my Frea(K)cat's series!

I had so much fun to create this tiny articuled kitty totally in blue.

In the past I made different animals using the same "tecnique" and I'm thinking to add also some human figures like, for example, some of my rounded-head characters. I'm pretty sure they will be nice as articulated paper dolls!

I took some pica of the process too, so you can see the "behind the scenes" and it could be an inspiration for a simple (but nice) activity to do with your kids ^_^

At first, I painted the parts of the cat using watercolors. I used a 250 gr paper, because I needed to use a kind f paper heavy enough to be articulated.

After this, I cut every different part (in the pic I missed the tail, sorry).

At the end, I cut an hole on every part that have to move and  I used some paper fasteners to unite all the piece together and to make them "articulated".

Simple, fast and really funny ^_^
